GIFT CARDS FOR THE CENTRAL NIGHT SHELTER

This year on December 3rd, in memory of Katie Bashor, we are going to provide the guests at the Central Night Shelter with a birthday breakfast bag. Coach Bashor was dedicated to this shelter and often spoke of how important a simple $5 gift card to McDonald's was to these men as it allowed them to go in to buy a cup of coffee and get out of the often brutal winter weather.

In honor of Coach Bashor's birthday, we are asking students to send in a $5 McDonald's gift card.  We will include these in the birthday bags.  Gift cards (or cash) can be turned into the P.E. coaches or the front office.  Last year we raised over $2,000 for the shelter.  We were able to provide each guest a $5 gift card in the birthday bag and we were also able to give gift cards to Katie's daughter, Jesse, to distribute to the men on cold, winter mornings.

Thanks for your help!

Teachers and parents, did you get photos of the Reflections ceremony, the 5th grade musical or the 5th grade trip?

Teachers and parents, please remember to take photos at school events and send them to Malia Escobar for the yearbook. Email to malia.escobar@emory.edu.  If taken on a phone, select the largest size when sending so we can make sure they look good in print.
