Welcome to Fernbank Elementary School! We look forward to meeting you and your family. Below you will find instructions to get you started with registration, as well as ways to both receive information and ask questions.
REGISTER YOUR STUDENT
To register your student with Dekalb County School District, please go to https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/divisions/access-and-opportunity/registration/new-students.
You will need to upload the following documents:

Birth Certificate

Security CardSocial
-
Immunization Form 3231
-
Hearing, Vision and Dental Form 3300
-
Proof of residence (ie. a utility bill or lease/mortgage agreement)

KINDERGARTEN READINESS CHART
You can download this readiness chart to prepare your student for some of the skills they will be learning and mastering in Kindergarten.
Kindergarten
Round Up Program
Fernbank hosts its Kindergarten Round Up event in March. During this short program, rising Kindergarteners will have the opportunity to meet our Kindergarten teachers and principals, eat a snack in the cafeteria, play on the playground, go on a bus ride, and visit their soon-to-be classrooms. Kindergarten Round Up registration opens in late February.
