Fernbank Elementary offers a great after school care program (the ASEDP) that runs from 3PM until 6PM.

 

It is operated by teachers and members of our school's staff. The children have the opportunity to participate in outdoor or gym free-play, computer lab, work on homework, art, etc. Enrolled children that have also signed up for after-school clubs will transition to aftercare when their club is finished meeting.

The weekly tuition payments are $60 for one child, $110 for two children, $165 for three children, and $220 for four children.

A $25 registration fee is due at the time of application to reserve space in the ASEDP and to assist with start-up materials.  If you are registering more than one child the fee is $20 per child.

The ASEDP generally follows the school calendar, but there are a few days during the school year where aftercare is not offered.​ The school will communicate any aftercare closures in advance.​

​

Due to high demand, this year's aftercare application process will be a lottery. The Pre-Registration form for 2026-2027 Fernbank Aftercare will open on Monday, July 6th. Stay tuned for more information here on this page and in The FLASH newsletter.
