• Join the PTA!
   

• Shop the Fernbank store! Buy yearbooks, Fernwear, and other FES swag (more swag on the way soon), and donate to Fund the Fern or the Library Fund! 
   

• Sign up to volunteer at a Fernbank event!
  Our many FUN and festive events throughout the year support our teachers, build community, and keep the school grounds beautiful, but we need parents volunteers to make them happen. You're sure to find one that suits your talents and interests!  
   

• Register for the DCSD meal plan via SchoolCafe, or apply for free or reduced priced meals.

At Open House

​Follow the arrows to the cafeteria! There you will:
 

• Learn about the after-school clubs we will offer this year!
   

• Find out about bus routes or sign your child up as a walker or car-pooler.
  More info on our transportation page. 
   

• Find out your child's home room teacher!​​​​

Then head to the gym to:
 

• Sign up for aftercare
   

• Pick up pre-ordered school supplies and take them to your student's homeroom.
  If your student is unable to attend Open House, the school supply pack will be delivered to their homeroom prior to the first day of school.

Then visit your child's new classroom and meet their new teacher!
