Welcome to Fernbank Elementary, a DeKalb County School. We serve children PreK - 5th grade, who live in the neighboring Druid Hills community. Click here to see if your address is within our attendance zone.
Our attendance zone will be changing for the 2019-20 school year in February 2019, due to DCSC redistricting. The redistricting will relieve overcrowding at our Druid Hills cluster elementary schools. Click here to read more about redistricting.

SEE WHAT FERNBANK'S ALL ABOUT
School tours are given throughout the year and you may attend any scheduled tour without registering in advance.
Please check the school calendar for upcoming tour dates.
We hold two New and Prospective Parent Meetings each winter. Meet our administrators, learn more about our school and the IB program, and take a tour of the school! Please check the school calendar for the prospective parent meeting dates.
We hold a Kindergarten Roundup each March.
Do you have an upcoming Kindergartener? If so, every year we hold a Kindergarten Roundup in March. Future Fernbankers will meet the Kindergarten teachers and our principals, watch a video about Fernbank and how much fun it is here, eat a snack in the cafeteria, go on a bus ride and visit the classrooms. This is sure to be a great day full of surprises!
Please contact Jackie Dalton, Chair of the PTA Ambassador Committee, with questions regarding tours or Kindergarten Roundup.
Fernbank has two GA pre-K classes that are filled by children who live within Fernbank's attendance zone. Each child entering the lottery must be 4 years old by September 1, 2019.
