AFTERCARE PROGRAM NOW FULL
Our aftercare program is now full. If you did not register already for this 2023-2024 school year, you can add your child's name to the aftercare waiting list. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please e-mail Dana Borda at dana_borda@dekalbschoolsga.org.
Fernbank Elementary offers a great after school care program (the ASEDP) that runs from 3PM until 6PM.
It is operated by teachers and members of our school's staff. The children have the opportunity to participate in outdoor or gym free-play, computer lab, mandatory homework, art, etc. Enrolled children that have also signed up for after-school clubs will transition to after-care when their club is finished meeting.
The weekly tuition payments are $60 for one child, $110 for two children, $165 for three children, and $220 for four children. A fee of $15 per day will be applied to students that are on a "drop in" basis.
A $25 registration fee is due at the time of application to reserve space in the ASEDP and to assist with start-up materials. If you are registering more than one child the fee is $20 per child.
The ASEDP generally follows the school calendar, but there are a few days during the school year where aftercare is not offered.
