It's Time for the Annual PTA Reflections Arts Competition!
2024 Theme: Accepting Imperfection

Calling all artists, dreamers, and creators—this is YOUR chance to shine! The PTA Reflections competition is open to all Fernbank students from Pre-K through 5th grade, and we want YOU to show off your talents! This year’s inspiring theme is “Accepting Imperfection,” and we can’t wait to see how you interpret it through your creative works. Whether you're into drawing, painting, photography, dance, film, or literature, you can enter an original piece in any—or ALL—of the 6 categories.

Special Raffle: Every student who submits an entry will automatically be entered into a raffle for a chance to win 2 tickets to SkyZone! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted online by October 28, 2024.

  • Digital Submissions Only: This year, ALL submissions must be digital.

  • Entry Requirements: Full details on submission requirements can be found in the Student Packet. The packet includes an entry form that must be completed and submitted along with your artwork.

  • Who Will Judge the Entries? A team of local artists and creative professionals will judge the entries.

  • Advancing to Regionals: First and second place winners in each category for every grade will advance to the regional competition, with the potential to go on to state and national levels!  Last year, one of our talented students made it to nationals, and it could be YOU next!

  • Celebration Event: All participants will be honored at our Spring Celebration (date to be announced), where we’ll award first through third place winners in each grade and division. Let's celebrate Fernbank’s creative stars!

How to Submit:

  • Submissions and the entry form should be sent to the PTA Reflections Chairs, Christie Upthegrove and Rachel Meggs, via email at:
    fernbankreflectionsprogram@gmail.com
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to them at that same email!
