OUR MISSION

To contribute to the long-term development and success of Fernbank Elementary School by raising money, thinking strategically, and supporting an academic and extracurricular environment that enables Fernbank’s students to excel.

WHO WE ARE

Formed in 2009, the Fernbank Elementary School Foundation is a non-profit organization. It contributes to the long-term development and success of Fernbank Elementary School by raising and managing funds for supplemental educational enhancements. The Foundation's support augments county resources, filling in the gaps to give Fernbank students the special tools they need for further success.

WHAT

The Fernbank Elementary School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) (EIN #:26-4028143), so your gift is always tax-deductible to the full extent allowable by law.

Checks can be made out to “Fernbank Elementary School Foundation” and mailed to: 157 Heaton Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30307. Attn: Stephanie James or Lauren Andrews

WHEN

Foundation sponsored events include Fund the Fern in the fall and the Fernbank auction in the spring. Our fiscal calendar follows the school calendar and is August 1-July 31.
The Foundation supports and works alongside the PTA.

WHY

The Foundation is supported by our amazing community donors! The generosity of the Fernbank families and community over the years has helped transform our school into a world-class learning community. All donations go directly to support academic endeavors that are not funded by the county. Our board works with Fernbank's administration to pinpoint and address the gaps in funding from the county or determine areas where teachers could use extra training or materials.
