1. Reserve slot by clicking here.

2. Visit the Fernbank online store by clicking here where you can join PTA, order yearbooks and Fernwear, and donate to Fund the Fern or the Library Fund!

3. Check out with credit card, debit card or Paypal.

4. Arrive at school during your window on August 2nd.

5. Check in at front desk and then follow the arrows

WHAT CAN I DO AT OPEN HOUSE?

1. Learn about your PTA, the Fernbank Foundation, the Principal's Advisory Council and volunteer opportunities.  Join, donate and volunteer!​

2. Sign up for After Care.  

3. Sign up for the Dekalb County Schools Meal plan. You can do that online HERE to save time! To apply for free or reduced priced meals online, click here. 

4. Find out bus routes or sign your child up as a walker or car-pooler. More info about that on our Transportation page. 

5. Learn more about the Clubs we will offer this year.

6. And last, but not least, find out your child's home room teacher!

School Supplies:

If you pre-ordered school supplies, those will be delivered to your child's homeroom on the first day of school.

Do I need to attend OPEN HOUSE?  

You can do most things online including joining the PTA, ordering a t-shirt, or a yearbook.  To learn more about bus routes, meet your teacher (s) or sign up for AfterCare, OPEN HOUSE is your one stop shop.

STEP - BY - STEP for OPEN HOUSE SHOPPING

1. Sign up for Volunteer interests (below)

2. Link your Publix, Kroger and Amazon accounts to Fernbank Elementary PTA (below)

3. Browse the Fernbank OPEN HOUSE store and remember to:

   1. Join the PTA (your $10 goes a long way)​ by adding to your cart.

   2. Add your yearbook to your cart and order today

   3. Agendas will be provided to students this year, no need to buy!

   4. Families of Kindergarteners should consider a sketch book which we sell for $5.

   5. Families of 5th Graders remember to add "5th Grade Dues" to your account and consider year book ads.

   6. CHECK OUT THE EXCLUSIVE DESIGN FOR OUR 2022-23 FERNWEAR:​
